In our advanced surf session, you will master fast and powerful breaking waves - the best prerequisites for combining a variety of turns and manoeuvres in different sections. You can surf bigger bottom turns and top turns with a more vertical approach towards the lip of the wave. So you can expect everything a surfer's heart desires: perfect, powerful waves with different sections in a continuous loop. You surf wave after wave and turn after turn. And the professional guiding by our surf coaches ensures a smooth process and maximum fun.

Ideal for all competent surfers who can surf fast and powerful waves and focus fully on turns and manoeuvres.

Session objectives

  • Surf Knowledge: Advanced turn techniques
  • Paddling & catching waves: Catch waves effortlessly with perfect positioning & timing
  • Take-off: Fast, angled take-offs in powerful waves
  • Stance & Speed: Improve flow & connect different wave sections
  • Wave Sections: Surfing the top third of the wave with a vertical approach
  • Manoeuvre: Connecting larger bottom turns & various top turns
  • Number of sessions to reach the next higher level: Depending on physical fitness and learning ability, 5-15 sessions; but at least as many to fulfil the defined requirements of the next higher surfing level

Preconditions

Please check whether you fulfil the following requirements before booking.

  • Efficient paddling technique, good timing & positioning
  • Fluid, angled take-offs in powerful waves
  • Safe surfing posture and correct basic technique in every situation
  • Ability to actively generate speed on a wave
  • Mastering bottom turns & cutbacks on the frontside and backside
  • Minimum age 11 years (Exceptions possible)
  • Swimming ability (at least 25 m)
  • No acute injury or illness

All in This is included in your surf session:

  • Surf equipment
    You can hire a high-quality wetsuit from our partner RipCurl and surfboards on site from our surf rental. If you need your session includes a surf helmet hire.
  • Professional guiding
    Our friendly and licensed surf coaches will guide you during the entire surf session and ensure that your surf session runs smoothly.
  • Safe learning environment
    Our professional lifeguards ensure your safety at all times. You will receive a safety briefing before your surf session and a surf helmet on request.
  • Day ticket and wristband
    When you check in, you will receive a high-quality SURFTOWN wristband that gives you access to the outdoor area of the surf park for the whole day.
  • Changing rooms & lockers
    The use of our changing rooms with showers, lockers and valuables lockers is included in your ticket.
  • Perfect waves
    You get a guaranteed number of wave attempts due to a limited group size, as well as perfectly suitable waves for your surfing level.
