You've mastered the basics and feel confident on the board - now you want more! Our intermediate coaching will help you improve your technique, make cleaner turns and deepen your understanding of waves. With live coaching at the water and a detailed video analysis, you will receive targeted feedback to take your surfing to the next level. In a small group of a maximum of five participants, you will train under ideal conditions and develop your own style. Total duration: 2:45 hours, including 55 min. of water time in the wave pool
30 min. briefing, 60 min. live coaching and 45 min. video analysis and surf theory knowledge transfer

SUITABLE FOR

Intermediate coaching is aimed at surfers who already have experience in surfing and want to improve their technique. It is ideal for anyone who can move confidently in a line-up, paddle green waves independently and make their first directional changes. The coaching offers a structured opportunity to work on specific aspects such as positioning, timing, speed generation and first maneuvers. It is particularly suitable for those who want to develop their skills under professional guidance and improve their surfing level efficiently. If you already surf confidently on the front and backside and want to expand your repertoire with more precise turns and better wave control, this session offers you the right training in a small group with individual coaching.

Session objectives

Surf Knowledge: Advanced wave theory
Paddling & Catching Waves: Efficient paddling and improving positioning & timing
Flow: How your lines on the wave and wave sections influence your surfing
Stance & Speed: Confident surf posture in every situation & generating speed
Manoeuvres: Small bottom turns & cutbacks on both frontside and backside

Preconditions

Please check whether you fulfil the following requirements before booking.

Understanding of surf etiquette and independent surfing ability in a lineup
Consistently safe, angled take-offs in green waves
Practiced stance and secure board control in green waves
Good ability to surf parallel to the wave
Confident surfing on both frontside & backside
Minimum age 11 years

(For kids aged 6-10 years we offer special surfing sessions)
Swimming ability (at least 25 m)
No acute injury or illness

You get a guaranteed number of wave attempts due to a limited group size, as well as perfectly suitable waves for your surfing level.

Our friendly and licensed surf coaches will support you during the entire surf session to help you learn quickly.

Our professional lifeguards will ensure your safety at all times. We will provide you with safety equipment such as a helmet and leash.
Video analysis & videos of your surfed wave

After your session, you'll receive a video coaching analysis to refine your technique. Plus, all footage of your waves will be available for free download.

Changing rooms & lockers
